A Guide To Keeping Up With The Latest TikTok Trends

As a business coach, being aware of the latest TikTok trends has been incredibly useful to me, and I strongly advise all female coaches to do the same.

You probably already agree that TikTok is one of the most fruitful digital marketing platforms, and that keeping up with the latest trends is essential if you want to attract your target audience there.

In addition, the app is fun because it is constantly evolving with new sounds, filters, and other features. This, of course, results in an influx of visitors and provides you with plenty of opportunities to go viral, just like many other people who make courses.

However, knowing all of these trends at once can be exhausting when you’re trying to find ways to build your brand. But if you care about maintaining brand loyalty, you should never use the word “obsolete” to describe anything you use.

Keep up with the latest TikTok trends by using these 6 methods:

1. Go to the Explore tab.

The “discover page” could have gotten its name because it is the starting point for the spread of novel filters, sounds, challenges, etc. Keep an eye out for new videos; you’ll find them up there; then, use the nav bar’s rotating circle to access insightful analytics. Be aware that the ‘friends’ button may have replaced the ‘discover’ button at the page’s bottom for some users.

2. Use hashtags, but keep an eye out for abuse.

Despite the widespread use of the term “watchdog” in the media and by security agencies, any woman in a position of leadership in the field, be it content creation or coaching, can assume this role for herself. A sharp eye on the most popular hashtags is, indeed, invaluable.

This is due to the fact that trending topics and videos on TikTok are all made possible by the use of hashtags. Let’s say you took a break from TikTok for a few days and are now hoping to return to the app with a bang: look for the trending hashtag. Create content that speaks to the current fad when you have it and observe the results.

3. Who is saying what now?

Track down leaders in your field and start learning from them. TikTok “influencers” are well-versed in a particular subculture or topic, have a sizable fan base, and often set the trend. As a result, following popular users and keeping tabs on their pages is a great way to stay abreast of the latest Tiktok trends. That way, you’ll be on top of all the newest developments, and your company can showcase its relevance to them as soon as possible. Gaining more attention in this way will help your brand flourish.

4. Use the search box; it will come in handy.

To all search engines, websites, apps, and other digital platforms, all glory be to the search bar. Similarly, TikTok’s search bar is at your disposal whenever you want to hear or watch what’s hot right now.

When you type something like “Trending sounds on TikTok right now” into the search bar, you’ll see everything that’s popular right now on the app, even if you missed it before.

5. Examine the profiles of people you know on other social media sites.

Although each social media network serves its own users, there are many commonalities between them due to the widespread practise of content recycling among them. If you spend enough time on social media platforms like Twitter, Instagram, or Facebook, you will eventually see the trends that have been developing. Keep an eye out for trending videos and explore the discover and search pages on TikTok to find them. When you’re sure it’s a fresh movement, capitalise on it.

6. Be aware of the issues which may give rise.

As a platform, Tiktok is well-known for its challenges, and its users are always looking for something new and exciting to participate in. Therefore, if you want to keep your brand relevant, it’s a good idea to keep an eye out for obstacles and investigate how to turn them into opportunities. I try to incorporate some sort of brand-related message into every trending topic I cover in a video for the Tiktok platform.

Finally, you can narrow your search results by a video’s level of popularity and the number of times it has been liked. With TikTok’s search filtering features, you can avoid the fad if you’re on the fence about it. Use it to keep up with the latest industry trends, just as I do. Once you learn to recognise and capitalise on trends, you’ll be well on your way to expanding your customer base and generating more income.
